Life Drawing
Drawing people; catching the form, movement & character of individual models; the challenge of measuring ‘the proportions’; experimenting with the physicality of materials – charcoal, eraser, chalk, ink to model the human form, sensing the weight; working very quickly to capture the gesture of a pose. I’ve always loved working in this way and taught life drawing for many years.
